How much do you love beer? Enough to spend nine hours learning about it on a Friday in August? From an official MBAA representative? Who will not only outline the history of beer, but also start an in-depth discussion on different beer styles? With representatives from some of your favorite local breweries and restaurants, and The Growler Guys®?
On August 16, from 8-5, The Growler Guys is hosting the MBAA Beer Steward Certificate Program here in Bend.
Who is this event for? We’ve got some ideas:
- Homebrewers
- Bartenders
- Brewery personnel
- Distributors
- Beer geeks
- Basically anyone who has an interest in craft beer!
Karl Ockert of the Master Brewer’s Association of the Americas will be training the group, and thanks to Deschutes Brewery, there are a limited number of partial scholarships ($75 off the tuition) available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
