To continue promoting Breast Cancer Awareness this October, The Growler Guys has joined up with Schilling Cider to create a collaborative cider called Pinkalicious.
Pinkalicious is a pink cider made in honor of breast cancer awareness month. It’s a blend of two of Schilling’s ciders; 50% of their classic Gold Cider and 50% of their new Mischief Maker. The Classic Gold Cider is Schilling’s flagship brew; made with ale yeast and Washington State apples. Their Mischief Maker is a tart cider, made from California pomegranates and Washington cranberries. The Classic Gold mellows out the tartness of the Mischief Maker, creating a cider that’s packed with flavor and easy to drink.
Schilling Cider is the first cidery to produce an apple ale with The Growler Guys. The Schillings are a family of entrepreneurs. Colin Shilling, the great-great-grandson of August Schilling (ie: Schilling Spice Company), started Schilling Cider in Seattle.
Schilling is a craft cidery. They pride themselves on making their ciders from 100% fresh pressed juice. Their products contain no chemicals, no sugars, and no blending. The outcome of this labor-intensive process is a pure and distinct cider.
In all of The Growler Guys locations, we’ll be supporting National Breast Cancer Awareness Month by initiating our ‘Buy a Pair, Save a pair’ promotion. Proceeds from this promotion will go to our breast cancer awareness partner organization, Breast Friends. Anytime you come into The Growler Guys and buy 2 of our special breast cancer awareness growlettes (32 oz), we’ll donate $1 to Breast Friends.
Come in to The Growler Guys during the month of October, buy a pair of breast cancer awareness growlettes and fill them up with Pinkalicious for your lady and a brew for yourself!
