Craft Beer Tap Room

On a trip to Eastern Oregon for a long weekend, the future owner of the Portland S Waterfront location went into a gas station convenience store in Bend where he saw the most amazing tap wall with craft beer from some of the finest breweries in the Pacific Northwest.  This store was The Growler Guys first location, established in 2012.  With eyes wide, that was it!  He put a plan in place, found the perfect location, and, in 2015, became The Growler Guys 9th location.

Nestled between high-rise buildings and OHSU’s healthcare clinics on the Willamette River, The Growler Guys S Waterfront has become the neighborhood’s ‘hot spot’.  Our customers recognize our passion for the finest craft beer.  They come here to grab a beer with friends and neighbors, watch sports or just to enjoy some of the finest craft beer, hand-picked from many different breweries, mostly in the Pacific Northwest but also in other parts of the country.

Among the 55+ taps we have, you will find other beverages Portlanders obsess over including the best hard cider, kombucha, sangria, wine, CBD options, and craft soda.  And the out-of-towners also come here to find the latest and greatest beverages in town!  Menu items consist of munchies, pizza, and sandwiches which complement the beverages.

Some of the activities hosted at S Waterfront are Trivia Tuesday and Saturday Comedy.  On most Wednesday nights you will see our customers gather here to enjoy a Beer Tasting from local breweries.  During the spring and fall, Scavenger Hunts have been set up with the Portland Streetcar.  Different raffles and other events are also set up at this happening spot!

Attached to The Growler Guys S Waterfront location, is Golf On Tap where you can grab a beer and play a round of golf, choosing from over 100 different courses.  Not a golf fan?  Then you can pick a different game to play including Foot or Disc Golf, Soccer, Baseball, Pinseeker, etc.   There is plenty of entertainment for everyone!
